Before starting to search for property you need to know how much you can afford? We can arrange for a free, no obligation, appointment with one of our independent mortgage advisers to find you the best mortgage deal on the market for your circumstances.

You will require a solicitor to act for you in the purchase of your new home. If you do not have a solicitor we can supply a free quotation from W.W. & J. McClure, Solicitors to act for you. This will clearly state the legal fees and outlays involved.
It is best to appoint a solicitor as soon as you start looking for a new home so they are ready to act quickly on your behalf when you have found a suitable property.
Request legal quotation
We recommend registering your requirements with our free property matching service. Then we will contact you by telephone and post when property meeting your needs becomes available.

If a property is of interest you will wish to see the full particulars. These are available to download from the internet and from our office. Our detailed schedules provide clear, accurate, no – nonsense descriptions.
The next stage is to arrange a viewing at a time which suits you. Either our friendly viewing agent will meet you for an individual appointment or the owner will show you round. The next day you will receive a courtesy call from our sales staff for your comments and to find out if you are interested.
If deciding to proceed with the property contact your solicitor who will officially note your interest. At this time we will confirm if interest is currently being shown by other parties. Should there be definite interest from another party a closing date may be set. If you require a mortgage you will probably decide this is the time to instruct a survey. Once satisfied with the survey your Solicitor will be in a position to submit a written offer either immediately or at the closing date.
Upon receipt of your legal offer we will speak to the seller. When the seller makes a decision we will immediately inform your Solicitor if the offer has been successful. At this point it is common for negotiations to take place to alter the purchase price, date of entry and the moveable items being included in the sale.
Once the details are agreed the offer is verbally accepted by the seller, subject to advice from their Solicitor, the property is "under offer". The seller will then meet with their Solicitor and a qualified acceptance will be issued to your Solicitor. When this qualified acceptance is agreed by both parties the missives are concluded and the sale becomes legally binding on both the buyer and seller. The purchaser pays for the property at the date of entry.
