The valuation
Our Inverclyde / Renfrewshire valuer is Derek J.B. Reid, a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents who holds professional estate agency qualifications. He uses “up to the minute” sales comparisons and experience gained from more than 12 years selling properties to provide accurate, realistic valuations.

Derek will also be happy to give advice to help maximise the sales potential of your home.

Should you require financial advice and/or a solicitor to assist with your sale we can arrange this with our independent mortgage advisers and W.W. & J. McClure, Solicitors. Of course, if you simply wish to use our estate agency we will liaise with your appointed solicitor.

The details
When your are ready to sell we will immediately proceed to create your Home Report, which must be completed before we are legally able to market your property for sale. The Report will be produced efficiently and professionally to minimise delays. We instruct a Chartered Surveyor to complete the Single Survey and Energy Report. The seller completes the Questionnaire. Quality A3 schedules are prepared with large photographs, floorplans and location maps as standard.
The matching
We are in regular contact with 100’s of buyers and will immediately identify suitable purchasers and inform them by telephone and letter to encourage early interest.
The internet
All our properties are listed with more than 6 main property websites including: Rightmove, GSPC, ESPC, Propertyfinder, Fish4homes, Hotproperty and our own website. Descriptions, photographs, maps and schedules are available to download.
The advertising
We advertise all our properties with the Glasgow Solicitors Property Centre (GSPC). Their marketing package offers exellent value and includes:
  • Full listing on their popular website www.gspc.co.uk and www.espc.co.uk
  • Weekly advertising in their weekly "Guide" until sold (or for 9 months).
  • The "Guide" is free to uplift and available every Tuesday.
  • Access to the GSPC buyer matching service
  • Additional display in the GSPC city centre showroom
  • GSPC provide an out of hours service to arrange viewings
If a property would benefit from advertising in other publications we will arrange this.
The negotiations
We recommend using our accompanied viewing service. Our friendly viewing agent can save you the hassle and stress of showing the property. We arrange individual appointments and take time to highlight the potential, plus unique selling points of all our properties.
The sale
We will allocate one of our experienced negotiators to handle your sale from start to finish. We guarantee to give you feedback the day after all viewing's.

Your negotiator will guide you through the whole process. We liaise with solicitors, surveyors, specialists and financial advisers to progress negotiations to the point when an acceptable legal written offer is received. We always work to attain the best price and terms given your circumstances.

Once a legal written offer is received we will contact you to go over the offer. If you instruct us to accept the offer we will do this verbally subject to receiving advice from your Solicitor. A copy of the offer is sent to you and the original is dispatched to your Solicitor who will handle the conveyancing. At this point the property is termed "under offer".

Once the missives are concluded between the buyer's & seller's Solicitor the property is legally sold. The property changes hands at the agreed date of entry.
